I think I'm done with Twitter/X. I've not been on for a week now and that's a good thing. I can't abide what I'm seeing with Trump, Musk and the US Oligarchy that is being built. Current plan is to close my account at some point soon. Starting again slowly on Bluesky.

A complete clusterfuck of a traffic jam this morning thanks to @TraffordCouncil removing 2 of 3 lanes on Chester Rd. I get they want all cyclists to have 14 miles of clear cycle paths each, but severely restricting an arterial road into Manchester is monumentally stupid.

Amused that people often complain some tech is expensive and then see them using a multi-node cluster to run spark to do something simple like get the day of week from a date 😂

FFS @SamsungUK - the new update for the S95C TV today has now hidden further the option for the home menu (so I can get to Sky Q recordings). It now takes 12 ! button presses to get to. It should be just 1. Renders 'one remote' to be pointless
