Pet Peeve - Every course (especially resorts) should have these on their carts. (That's every course in Myrtle Beach) Not always dead on - but close enough as a double check plus hole design. Also gives the pro shop the ability to see where everyone is and who might be slow

What do you think the ratings of the Master's will be if Phil or Tiger are at or close to the lead saturday or sunday. I know I'm glued to the TV if that happens. I would expect record numbers. Last year I was on the edge of my seat as Phil climbed the leaderboard on Sunday.

River Oaks - Myrtle Beach. One of the worst conditioned courses down here..... BUT NO MORE! Talked to the super and he had a 5 year plan, it's working. Fairways were very good, greens slow but smooth, greens held pretty well. The layout is interesting but won't bowl you over.

Grande Dunes Resort course may be the best public facility in Myrtle Beach. While GD is an excellent track - the facility is far more than that. First rate clubhouse, a restaurant with a menu worthy of a private club. And the practice facilities are worthy of holding a PGAT

Played River Hills in Myrtle Beach - it is in very fine condition. This course flies under the radar but is in my top 10 in MB. Tough but fair track - it will challenge you on so many holes and shots. With the fairly new expanded greens - the targets are right there if you can

Played Sunridge Canyon in Scottsdale today. Really interesting layout. Fairways generous on most holes, but if you miss them, you're dead. I enjoyed the layout - until I hit a couple of shots off the tee I really liked, and they ended up dead! Greens were IMPOSSIBLE to read.

Phoenix CC - 1898 what a fabulous layout. Let's get the bad out of the way.... I'm thinking... OK worst I can come up with is that the range is well away from the clubhouse and not long enough for drivers for anyone with some length. Now that we've gotten that out of the way.

How good are you at golf. Assuming 20 million golfers I expect I’m around the 3 millionth in the country. I can break par on easier courses but the long tough ones will be normally 75 to 80 except for a rare day like at moon valley in phoenix when I bettered my age. For 73 and up

Myrtlewood palmetto course. An old style course with several dog legs in both directions. If you like classic but playable courses you’ll enjoy palmetto. Good condition and has one of my favorite holes in Myrtle Beach not on a marsh #14 . It’s worth playing

Do you ever practice this shot? Standing in the bunker with the ball way above your feet. You swing more on a baseball plane and the more loft on the club the more the ball will go left for right handers.

So my can of peanuts are in the basket behind the seats and a squirrel grabbed them and ran off. You can see the holes in the lid. Then a hawk came down and went after the squirrel saving my peanuts. Later a buddy had a squirrel grab his cigar case. They are very aggressive

Crown Park. Best condition I've seen it in the last 7 years. However, if you're expecting similar conditions to Surf Club or TPC, you will be sorely disappointed. CP is a low end, less expensive round of golf. The course serves a purpose - golf for less money. Greens were covered
