Today our team met Kieran who is earning his way playing his guitar on the streets. His guitar only had 3 strings. Brian took him to our warehouse where he got a new sleeping bag, complete change of clothes, rucksack and the main thing a new guitar and case…merry Christmas.

Big thanks to @thbank_peckham for stocking us up with a cargo bike load of hygiene products. No matter what situation someone is in they should have the opportunity to keep fresh and clean. A fundamental for feeling dignified and ready to connect socially, attend job interviews.

Tonight we celebrated @simonharris_mbd brilliant campaign to raise funds to buy triangular shelter prisms/toblerhomes/tents (🫣) for our homeless friends (more than £7k raised in 1 day). Our teams distributed these smart miniature toblers that self-collapse on warm days.

Very happy to share our new collaboration with @durham_uni. An exciting part of our shared plans is to develop an UOS university homeless outreach model that can be lifted and shifted to other university towns enabling students have direct positive impact in the local community.

On the day where the nation said their final goodbye to the Queen I am glad to report we helped get our homeless friend Ann get ready for her mother’s funeral later this week. Yesterday we got her black shoes and a scarf and today we brought her 2 kindly donated black dresses.
