Our *phenomenal* Ph.D. student Michelle Cho (@chhmichelle) was selected to represent the OB group at @kenanflagler’s board meeting last week, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Michelle represents the best of us. She’s smart, kind, and generous with her time.

@TheAOM Last but not least, our colleague @jesschristian28—who does more for the OB group at @UNC than just about anyone else—was recognized as one the most valuable reviewers by the editorial team of AMD. And I mean honestly, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Jess is obviously a gem.

Second, the Research Methods Division at @TheAOM awarded a *Best Conference Paper Award* to our very own Jeff Edwards! The paper, titled Moderation in Response to Surface Analysis, and was led by Leander De Schutter and was co-authored by Marius Van Dijke. Dreamteam, amiright?!

OUR COLLEAGUES ARE INCREDIBLE! And at this year's annual meeting of @TheAOM, their incredibleness was on full display. First, @timkundro received AMJ's Best Paper Award for his article with Nancy Rothbard, titled: Does Power Protect Female Moral Objectors?

You guys, our colleagues Matt Pearsall, Jess Christian, and Natalie Croitoru just found out that their manuscript, "A Stimulus-Based Model of the Team Adaptation Process: An Integrative Conceptual Review," is going to be published at JAP as a 🌟Monograph!! We're just so proud.🥲

Alyssa Tedder-King received the Peggy Lee and Sunil Wahal Award, which recognizes a Ph.D. student who exhibits excellence in research. Alyssa's program of research broadly examines obstacles and pathways to increasing diversity in organizations:

Chicas received an award for representing the best of Kenan-Flagler’s values—for brining Innovation to his studies in particular. Terence received the M. Wayne DeLozier (PhD ’71) Fellowship Award, which recognizes a Ph.D. student who exhibits outstanding service contributions.

This year, three of our students—Herison Chicas, Terence McElroy, and Alyssa Tedder-King—all received prestigious awards at the Henry and Felicité Latané PhD Awards Banquet. This is an annual banquet recognizing outstanding Ph.D. students across the entire business school.

A second piece of good news that we MUST share with you concerns our award-winning cohort of fifth-year Ph.D. students. This is them, looking cute as ever.

Up next: Terence McElroy. Terence has been studying how cross-cultural experiences change the way people relate to one another at work. We are *thrilled* to see Terence graduate, and we're so lucky to have him stay at Kenan-Flagler in a new role as a Clinical Professor of OB.

Chicas is making a name for himself as an expert on how immigration experiences influence the way people relate to their work. This summer he'll join the faculty at Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business, and we are *so proud* of him. https://t.co/X44DbejspL
