Thank you, @samhusseini, for speaking on behalf of seemingly the whole world. He would be forcibly escorted out of the room.

Hiding knowledge from others doesn’t just undermine them. It limits your thinking too. People who withhold information end up having less creative ideas. Their peers don't trust them enough to share insights with them. A key to learning is being generous in teaching.

"There isn’t an ID doc in this country who hasn’t been at the bedside of a patient who’s desperately ill & for whom we did not have an antibiotic.” @IDSAInfo President Dr. Cynthia Sears. #IDquotes #IDTwitter Retweet if you ever had a patient with no #antibiotic to treat.

If you have never written a note that starts out, “Briefly, …” and is then followed by a scree of prose longer than any other note in the chart, the Infectious Diseases Society of America deserves the right to wonder about your ID credentials.😂😂
When it comes to time spent on the EHR, we ID docs are #1, and that’s not a good thing. Some thoughts about why, and what to do. (Hint: Write shorter notes.) https://t.co/MEkqNOB3hv

Would you give bactrim in HD patients during monsoon season as a Melioidosis prophylaxis? It might protect them against SAB, too! Jom baca, @SazaliBasri @SinHui91 @Rasidah @hiujian23 @adammashraff @alif82 @shaharudeen @dr_aishah_wahid @ummuafeera

Insecure people always need to be heard. They aim to prove their knowledge and feel important. They seek status by getting attention. Secure people are happy to listen. They want to improve their knowledge and make others feel important. They earn respect by giving attention.

If you have constructive feedback, it’s not rude to speak up. It's unkind to stay silent. Honesty is the highest form of flattery. It signals that you respect their ability to handle the truth. Don't deprive people of the opportunity to learn. Offering ideas is an act of care.

BREAKING : Israel is intensely bombing South Lebanon right now, deliberately targeting civilian areas. This isn’t victim behavior. It’s terrorism. https://t.co/7haNTOnh1r

This is the car that 6-year old Hind Rajab was killed in along with 5 family members. The ambulance you see was heading to try to save them and was bombed too. War crimes and genocide.

In toxic cultures, rest is taking your foot off the gas. You're forced to push yourself to exhaustion—burnout is a price to pay for excellence. In healthy cultures, rest is a supply of fuel. You're expected to take regular reprieves—breaks are vital to gain and sustain energy.
