One could speculate that the faculty associations not represented may be facing even worse repression. They may be outnumbered in votes, may face retaliation if they speak up, or the repression "isn't bad enough" to justify participation in the ULP charge.

Just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that in July, right before the new "expressive activities" policies came out, all of the UC Vice Chancellors for Student Affairs hung out with UCOP at the Mexico City villa that UC bought for use as an executive retreat.
We were honored to welcome the Vice Chancellors for Student Affairs of the @UofCalifornia System to Casa de la Universidad de California in Mexico City for their annual meeting. We also had the distinguished presence of representatives from the UC Office of the President.

This amidst the context of current labor discussions breaking down. Many staff are unable to afford housing and unable to save for retirement. Many staff work two jobs just to make ends meet. SUPPORT UC WORKERS

This is in addition to their university-sponsored housing (which is pretty swank), called the "Chancellor's House" or "University House". Here's the home of UCSD Chancellor Pradeep Khosla https://t.co/XTJtckOmLT

Combined, the ten UC Chancellors took home $6.9 million dollars last year. Would you have guessed that the lowest salary is "only" $555,000?

UCLA Housing has instructed its employees to leave one of these flyers on the desk of every single student moving in this week. To the best of our knowledge, no other rules or notices were printed for dorm desks, just this one. #spoileralert #uclawelcomingcommittee
