Please be careful when reading twitter historians and their sensationalist stories. This sort of stuff happens all the damn time, Kamil is notorious for this, but usually I don't bother. Wonder if he's going to sweep this one under the rug like @sumlenny did.

9. Also says Tatars are unhappy over losing workforce and keep scheming. Here, halfway through the evac., Rumyantsev says some of the Christians are hesitating - meaning they had a choice. He suggests showing them a decree signed by the empress, thinking it might help sway them.

8. Here, Suvorov complains that he saw an officer being rude. He ordered to stop and paid a compensation - meaning it was an unusual thing. Mentions lots of Armenians flocking. Also laments how expensive it is to buy Christian slaves out of Tatar captivity.

7. So, was there any coercion involved? So far no real proof except for the Khan being pissed about his subjects leaving. In one of the letters, Suvorov mentions the Christians demanded money to help with relocation, and he had no choice but to comply, else they wouldn't agree.

6. And here is the tendentious article that Kamil is quoting. You can see that he is simply retelling it, including the poem. Looks like a random newspaper is a good enough source for Kamil. Might as well start basing his future threads on Babylon Bee.

5. Here you can see an actual historian's take on that narrative; unlike the newspaper, he actually cites his sources. And here's the letter in question, page 54

4. No mention of any "flood" of complaints, only the one the Khan used as proof, supposedly signed by 6 Christians. As for people hiding en masse, quotes musings of a guy born 70 years later, saying Crimea is ancient✝️land and they should've stayed to convert Tatars️back to✝️

3. Suvorov claimed instead that it is the Tatars who started barging into bishops' houses knives in hand, demanding to stop the exodus. The correct translation is "This ordeal started after the Christian evacuation was over. Otherwise, I would be destroyed for failing it".

2. On the contrary, it was Suvorov himself who claimed that "no Cossack ever chased anyone with a whip". And it wasn't Rumyantsev who complained about violence, it was the Crimean Khan who did so, clearly disliking the exodus. Suvorov vehemently denied that.

1. Or did he? You didn't even read the letter, did you? You're basing your narrative on a 2007 news story by a local Crimean newspaper. What a historian. Your source misquotes Suvorov and misattributes the words. The language is archaic, but comprehensible.

Reading all these complaints, Rumyantsev prohibited Suvorov to use violence "so that no Cossack would not chase anyone with a whip". "This order was issued after the Christian deportation was over. Otherwise, I would be destroyed for failing the operation" recalled Suvorov

Technology memes aside, we should really be able to change the loadout mid-game. Funnily enough, there was a bug that allowed you do exactly that, but Valve quickly patched it out. This whole "pick a gun and stick with it for the whole match" concept seriously needs to go.

I swear it's not even THAT bad, I can name quite a few situations off the top of my head where M4A1 could come in handy. However, it's definitely not something you'd want to be stuck with for the duration of the whole match.

That's like permabanning D0cC because he's best friends with a known cheat dev. Is your internet dying in a match vs. your soon-to-be-teammate now considered a crime? When did not picking your countryman become a bannable offense?.
