Garbage Collection Update We are aware that garbage collection was delayed yesterday on County Rd 21, Connell Rd, Millar Rd and Millar Rd West, due to an equipment issue. A collection truck is on route and remaining pickups will be completed this morning.

Snow removal operations are scheduled for tomorrow (Jan 8), in the downtown areas of Cardinal and Spencerville, beginning around 4:00 a.m. On-street parking is not permitted overnight, in accordance with our parking bylaw. This allows crews to remove snow safely and efficiently.

Our Public Works team is out plowing Township roads after the recent snowfall. With two plow trucks currently down for repairs, it may take a little longer than usual to clear all roads today. Crews are working as efficiently and safely as possible. Thanks for your patience.

There is a small water leak that has surfaced on Dishaw Street in Cardinal, north of the library. Our Environmental Services staff are aware and repairs are scheduled for tomorrow morning (January 6). Please use caution in this area as road conditions may be icy.

Curbside Christmas tree collection runs Jan 5 to 16 in Cardinal, Spencerville, Johnstown and New Wexford. Place your tree at the curb by Jan 5 with all decorations removed. You can also drop trees at the Scott Road Transfer Station in January at no charge.
