I'm grateful to whoever planted this tree in our yard ages ago. It has provided so much for my family and the critters who visit it. Today, @sci_rendezvous is launching a new Canada-wide experiment: the #MillionTreeProject. #SciRen #OdySci

Solving problems together is the most fun. Also, not having to worry about what you're wearing because you get to cover it with a lab coat is pretty fantastic too! @sci_rendezvous @Sci_Od @NSERC_CRSNG
Happy #SciRen day! Our last question of the day: what makes #science fun for you? Retweet or reply below with your answer! 👇 #ThinkLikeAScientist #SciRen #OdySci #STEAM. 📸 Garrett Eliott

Digging deeper doesn't come naturally to most humans. It's something most of us need to practice. When you hear something - ask, "What evidence do they have?" or ask, "How does that work?" or "Why is it like that?" "So what?" is a good question too. #thinklikeascientist
Happy #SciRen day! How can we challenge ourselves to dig deeper beyond what meets the eye? Let us know how you #ThinkLikeAScientist in a retweet or reply below! 👇 #SciRen #OdySci #STEAM. 📸 Kira Koop

I find #stereoisomers fascinating. It's when two objects exist that are mirror images of each other, but they're not identical. DNA, sugars, amino acids, rotini pasta, the children's blocks shown below (@infantino), hands, ears, feet, etc. are all great examples. #becurious
Happy #SciRen day! We are most #curious about what YOU are most curious about! Let us know by retweeting or replying below! 👇 #ThinkLikeAScientist #OdySci #STEAM. 📸 Kira Koop

It's important for scientists to #brainstorm together, but it's also important to #ponder alone. Today I'm pondering, "Why are preschoolers so contrary?"
Happy #SciRen day! Pick something to ask questions about today, like a cookie, an animal, the sky. #ThinkLikeAScientist and come up with as many questions as you can! Share some of your questions with us below! 👇 #OdySci #STEAM #becurious. 📸 Kira Koop

Thinking like a scientist can help you be more confident about your ideas. Try the linked exercise! @uwsciences #thinklikeascientist.
#UWinnipeg’s Dr. Tabitha Wood has been volunteering with @sci_rendezvous for more than a decade. With this year's event (which would have today) cancelled, she has created a hands-on lesson to encourage experiments at home. #ThinkLikeAScientist. DETAILS |
