2/5 It is home to the last remaining littoral (coastal) forest on the island. The area was proposed as a scientific reserve in the 1980s, and is also proposed as a terrestrial sustainable use reserve in the 2018 Protected Areas Systems Plan.

Things you should know about Kilgwyn:.1/5 Along with the Buccoo MPA it is one of only 2 systems in Tobago with an association between Mangrove- seagrass – coral reefs.

Very disturbing statements by the THA. This is a very dangerous precedent being set here that the THA can do whatever they want whenever they want with no regard for environmental laws. This is unacceptable.
