Also mentioning, pokemon decided to become open world and ruined the experience with its lack of effort in graphics. Might as well keep it 2D if the environment is going to look worse than a PlayStation 2 game.

I struggle to connect with new gen pokemon games because why did I just spend $60 on a game that I finished in one sitting. Pokemon made so many changes that made the games easier, XP sharing, losing battles is harder than winning, TMs reuseable. There's no punishments anymore.

Advice for people getting into old gen consoles. Don’t buy consoles in perfect condition, most common problem- inability to read game cartridges or CD’s, solution, mod your consoles. My current Wii was $20 because it couldn’t read CD’s and now it’s modded.
