Pacheco was one of the first major creators to really give me the time of day when I started out and genuinely wanted to hang out and chat. Honest (sometimes brutally, but always sincere and with grace), funny, and incredibly talented. We really lost one of the best.

EVENT HORIZON DARK DESCENT from Christian Ward & @tristans_bones is such an exceptional cosmic horror comic. Every issue is better than the last and filled with sickening panels of hellish horror. I love it.

I've been out of the manga game for a few years, but are there any seinen books out there about giant monsters? The second you put the word kaiju in all you get is Kaiju No.8 and MAYBE AoT. I can't find anything beyond Kazuhisa Iwata's 84 Godzilla and would love more like that.

As per my last tweet -- if you haven't got this locked in at your nearest comic shop, you better let them know you want a copy, or find a shop with some available online, because #3 is where things REALLY lock in!

Just woke up to some rad news regarding Event Horizon: #3 outsold #2, and #4 has upped on #3... and for a book that has gone into multiple prints on its first two issues, it's well and truly bucked the sales trends of your average licensed horror comic! You guys RULE. Thank you!
