Some friends and I have set up the Isle of Man Imagination Library to gift free books to under fives with help from Dolly Parton π It's has all the things I love; nudge theory, creating social bonds, preschool education's incredible return on investment AND it's a bargain π€π₯°
Help us bring Dolly Partonβs Imagination Library to the Isle of Man! Inspired by her fatherβs inability to read and write, Dolly Parton started her Imagination Library in 1995 for the children within her home county, in East Tennessee.

Does anyone recall what the exact agreement was when they built M&S over a Public Right of Way? It was ok before but now it's like an slalom course to avoid shopping trolleys and baskets. Hardly feels in keeping with a public thoroughfare. π€·ββοΈ #iom

I've been doing Howard Parkin's evening class at UCM - I thought it was going to be about astronomy but there's loads about space. I did not expect to find something new to get geeky about at my age.... but my name is now going to orbit the moon π«£π€
1.5 million names are flying around the Moon on Artemis II. Is yours one of them? It's not too late to add your name to the missionβand it's absolutely free: https://t.co/tUAM7BTfjt

ChatGPT usage in 2025 on my personal account only. π I can't get the data for my work account which I reckon I use significantly more. If I'm in the top 10% of users and top 3% of messages for my personal account... Oh dear π€£

I just went through Gatwick security. Bottles up to 1 litre are permitted and you could leave it in your bag π€―π€£ Maybe the next generation will have no idea you once _couldn't_ take unlimited liquids in your hand luggage π€ Except if they use Ronaldsway of course... π
There was universal surprise that you used to be able to take unlimited liquids in your hand luggage. That was only introduced in 2006! π€―

I just had to beg a lady in Tesco to let me borrow her Clubcard π I managed to go out without my phone and the consequence of not being eligible for the offers never occurred to me until I got to the till. She saved me Β£12! π³

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang last night was fantastic. And I took this photo where The Gaiety looks like it's in 1890s Paris. La Belle Epoque. π₯°

Errr, you still can't book a boat for July or August 2026?!! Isn't this a pretty significant problem? I'm baffled. π€·βοΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΈ #iom
Last October, the @iomsteampacket said that they'd taken feedback on board π₯ and would be publishing schedules 18 months in advance from now on (up to May 2026). Apart from TT, it doesn't look like they have added any sailings since. π Is that right? π€·ββοΈ https://t.co/HBuwrUih3j
