Well yes, because the Alien Ranger suits were very plain. You could easily get away with it. Samurai suits, however, are very obviously Samurai.
Why is it okay for the Kakuranger adaptation to ignore Japanese culture and history but not the Shinkenger adaptation?.

So have I. You canโt underplay that the Ninja elements of the season were important. They used Kakuranger stock footage for both Season 3 and Alien Rangers.

Dude, Iโve seen season 3. Most of the time they were turning back into Dinosaurs ๐ Be for real now.
The entirety of Season 3 was about Ninjas they even met a Ninja named Ninjor who played a major role in the story. Their Ninja powers were the key to defeating their villains of that season.

Ninjas only played a tiny part in MMPR. Samurai was strictly supposed to be about Samurai.
Nobody researched Ninja culture in MMPR Season 3 or when they turned the Kakurangers into Aquitar aliens.
