Ron Barassi, one of the greatest people in the history of footy, has passed away at the age of 87. Barassi won 10 flags as player and coach, was rover in the team of the century, and was the first Legend in the AFL Hall of Fame. The AFL world mourns him deeply tonight.
Today marks two years since we lost our great mate Spud Frawley. We love and miss him every single day, and while you reflect on Spud's legacy, we'd ask you to remember to regularly check in with your mates, your family and - most importantly - yourself. ❤️🥔

Only five players have kicked more goals than Brody Mihocek since he debuted mid-season in 2018. In that time he's been Collingwood's leading goal kicker five times in a row and is now a premiership player - not bad for a centre half back from the VFL!
Shortly after Danny Frawley's passing last year we pulled together the classic Saturday Rub team - James Brayshaw, Brian Taylor, Garry Lyon and Damian Barrett - to pay tribute to Spud. Today we revisited that special Saturday Rub. Listen here:
We sourced some never before seen footage of BT's call of Tom Boyd's centre square goal from the 2016 grand final! Pandemonium in the box! Make sure you tune in for our iconic call of the game tomorrow from 2pm.
"I didn't have a father figure and too many positive role models growing up. Danny Frawley was certainly one of those."
Andrew Krakouer on Richmond coach Danny Frawley:
“When someone’s got their elbow in you head pushing you into the ground, I know if I was in his shoes you’re trying grab or do whatever you can.”
Pendles sided with Jarrod Berry.
"Please don't watch the replay!"
We're calling the 1989 Grand Final tomorrow! Tune in for the Saturday Rub at midday with the game starting at 1:30pm - or catch up afterwards with the podcast on the Triple M app!
