how about all the underscored skaters with no medals????? not just your current peers but those before. figure skating scoring has always been such bs i'd rather the underscored skaters lead this conversation with people who benefit from it as support,, rather than the opposite

i was rooting for them to win bc i don't want fb/c to win and i don't want abusers and apologists to be propelled to a much bigger pedestal in this sport. but frankly... all this media on appeal and having official media platforms that support you... YOU HAVE SILVER AND GOLD

I am biased here (duh), but - dare I say, they actually improved technically since 2022, against the watered dow tech system, showed variety and brought back icon of a program to do it more justice. And create the moment. They had to earn EVERYTHING. NOTHING was given freely.

On one hand I genuinely feel bad for Madi and Evan because clearly this has caused much anguish But on the other, a part of me just NEEDS to say "Oh, so it's bad when corrupt and biased scoring benefits someone other than you?"
In an Interview for Access Hollywood, Madison Chock and Evan Bates told that they would consider appealing the results of the ice dance individual event at the 2026 Olympic Games if there was such a possibility. "It does beg the question, though. Is there a possibility - would

Can I just say that the IOC taking down every single video in relation to the Olympics unless it’s from verified team accounts is kind of ruining the fan experience. Just let the fans post silly little videos if they want to what is the harm.

@basalticboi @Mewmmm1728 1. ilia actually doesnt have much speed in his stsq. this is bc hes not able maintain good balance on his edges for long so he loses speed quickly. to make up for this, he tends two-foot majority of his stsq to push himself forward (even during turns that should be one-footed)

i lowkey need yuzuru to become a judge or a technical controller or smth because i know in his heart of hearts he is a dedicated hater and it'd be funny as hell to see him decimate those protocols. but alas im also painfully aware of his russiaboo tendencies so who knows actually

This ice dance ⛸️ judging bias controversy is even worse than I thought at first glance The French 🇫🇷 team's second highest score (and the USA's lowest score by far) came from the French judge USA's 🇺🇸 highest score --> the USA judge Canada's 🇨🇦 highest score --> the Canadian
