I wrote about this today in my article on Houston but big shoutout to everyone at St. George’s for letting the Mustangs practice there. Houston is getting its long-awaited track installed. Neighbor helping neighbor is what it’s all about.

This is spot on. Coaches need to know their worth at the High School level. Ridiculous to ask any head coach to sit in classroom for 6-7 hours and then judge him on the Wins and losses on Friday Night. I’ll die on this hill. Could.Go on for days about this & personal experience.
High School Football and Basketball coaches should be FULL-TIME employees and not required to have a second position at the school to make ends meet. Far too much is expected from those two sports.

RIP Mr. Smith. The greatest Memphian. Becoming close to your immediate family has impacted my families life in many ways.
Fred Smith was the most significant Memphian in history. He benefited our city in every way possible and allowed generations of Memphians to achieve the American dream. God bless Fred Smith. My condolences to the Smith family.
