Whenever artists try to do something nice for the community such as uploading a 3D viewer scene, there is always someone poised to exploit that for a quick buck. Getting really tired of it.

Hey guys, please never buy from here. Support independent artists and buy direct from the artist, ESPECIALLY original IP. I will never make money from the Tifa model, it’s purely for hobby. The sketchfab geo they ripped is a decimated mess and wont look good printed out.
Yesterday I stumbled across a figurine store who has been stealing models from online viewers to print and sell, recasting other independent artists figures and reselling them as their own and it seems to be a huge thing?
Please do your research when purchasing figures online 🙏

With the talk about art school going around, just want to put it out there that if you plan on working outside your own country one day, a 3 year degree/bachelors is usually required for a visa. A degree gives you much more flexibility, so factor it in if that’s important to u 💪

Doing this will allow me to lead a normal life for many years before reintervention is required. It’s been difficult with this hanging over me, separated from family in UK but finally it’s happening & soon it will be over. I’ll be taking a month or so to recover from the surgery.

Sorry guys, I don't like to be snarky or passive aggressive but this has gone a bit too far. Overlaying a bunch of OW character faces and acting AMAZED that they're similarly proportioned is not revolutionary or some kind of impressive detective work.

Its just visual illiteracy at this point if you can't read a consistent style and expect every face to be in proportional wacky land. That clearly isn't the intention here. Stop acting like you're E'XPOSING LAZY ARTISTS', making appealing faces is extremely difficult.

After using a newish version of 3dsMax again, it’s kind of disheartening to see the exact same bugs, crashes and instability as the last version I used, which was 2012. Still can’t ctrl+S in UV editor, still crashes when you pelt map something with multiple objects selected.

I could write a whole essay as to why achieving their fidelity isn’t possible in most other genres! But in a nutshell, most medium-large game studios do not have such a strong history or culture of 2d/sprite anim as Arcsys and the determination to recreate it absolutely in 3D.
