Want some good baseball news??
I just heard from multiple sources that on June 10th, Spring Training 2 will start. July 1st will be Opening Day and all teams will be playing at their home ballparks.
We’ll be discussing it in full on the next
@TalkinBaseball_
The Dodgers have some dude on the mound right now wearing

throwing 100. He looks like he wants to kill every person that steps in the batter and he’s got two massive gold chains on. I like him.
Alright people. Here’s my official pitch clock take. YES FOR 162. NO FOR POSTSEASON. 162 in 180 we need to speed up. But big games we need to let breath. It’s not perfect but in my head it makes sense.
This is my hill. I will die on it.
3-0 swings should be a regular part of baseball, no matter the score. @ me all you want. The ONLY thing wrong is that it might get your teammate hit because the opposing pitcher had his feelings hurt. So is the wrong in the act or retribution?
Can we rethink who’s in the booth for Sunday Night Baseball now? One cheated the game multiple times and the other is apparently ok with hiding the cheating. We need to stop rewarding people for being polarizing.
Opioids are so dumb. Like so fucking dumb. If you are using them recreationally, stop. If you are addicted, please tell someone and get help. If you suspect someone is using, confront them. I don’t know what else to say. I’m so sad and angry today.
Rangers manager Chris Woodward on Fernando Tatis Jr. swinging 3-0 on his grand slam: "I didn't like it personally. You're up by 7 in the 8th inning, it's typically not a good time 3-0. It's kind of the way we were all raised in the game. But ... the norms are being challenged."
The Commisioner of Baseball is going to speak about possibly the biggest scandal in our sport’s history, and MLB Network is playing Bull Durham for the 1000th time. Haha cmon guys! 🤦♂️
It would be awesome if Altuve really didn’t want to cheat in 2017. I would love that because he used to be one of my favorite players. But when all the guys around you are cheating and getting on base, your numbers are going to reflect it.
So did he steal the MVP? Yes, he did.
Truth from Cutch! Pitchers, if you are gonna go let’s go. Don’t throw an off speed pitch or a fastball away to get a guy settled in the box. You want it, it needs to happen first pitch. And if you miss, you get one more chance. That’s it. Have some feel!
I saw the “best proposal” and it’s an absolute joke. Laughable is another adjective I’d use to describe it. This whole negotiation has been a sham since MLB instituted the lockout. What an absolutely disgraceful showing by them.
Yo MN! Thank you for letting me be a small part of the season! I don’t take this opportunity lightly and I hope I’m back for many years to come. Being in the booth with Dick and Morny has been so fun, and such a learning experience.
This team is a bunch of dawgs and the nucleus…
Like him or not, Bauer was ringing the bell on the foreign substance issue for years. Trying to single him out and make him the face of it is lazy at best.
Such a horseshit part of our game. If Rhys doesn’t have 4 RBI, do you throw at him? Why not do it his first AB when you have a base open. I hate the whole situation. And now of course every Mets hitter is vulnerable.
Thank you to everyone who followed along with us this year! Baseball is an amazing sport and all we want to do is showcase it. It just so happens that
@Jomboy_
is a maverick and
@TalkinJake
is a movie star. Our chat is 🔥🔥🔥 too. We couldn’t do it without you! Labor Pods coming!
🚨🚨🚨
The rumors are true! I will be coming back to MN to celebrate my friend Joe’s number retirement. Can’t wait to drink beer with my old teammates and talk about how we could still hit homers off all these scrubs.

I’m sitting around thinking about how dumb it is that Brad Hand (All Star in each 2017, 18, 19) is unemployed but Hinch (suspended for the worst scandal in baseball history) is freshly employed.
If Josh ends up wearing

I want to be clear about something. I’m ok with you duct taping over my name on your jersey and putting his on.

I’m never answering this question again. Until Shohei stops being Shohei he’s the best player. Judge is a fucking living legend. I respect everything about him. I’m a huge fan. Statues, HOF, all that stuff for him. Shohei is just on another planet.
Most days I look back at my career and think, “Bro, you were fortunate as hell to play in the Show. You weren’t even that good.”
But then I see my name in the 4 hole protecting a few legends and now you can’t tell me shit for the rest of the day!
Josh Donaldson with the highlight of the year! The wherewithal to plan that as he rounded the bases is why you pay him the big bucks.

in Minnesota continues to be legendary.
I know no one on here really cares BUT I’m so thankful for this opportunity with Bally’s and the Twins. To be able to still be a part of Twins Territory is something I don’t take for granted! It’s been almost 20 years since I was drafted and I feel connected as ever to MN. I’ll…
According to
@Carson_Smith39
and now confirmed by my source, the Astros had someone watching a live feed and then relaying the pitch calls via ear piece to the bullpen catcher. Hands up on fence for FB and hands down for offspeed.
If any player wants to come talk to the fans, we have a beautiful platform that reaches them. Some would say it’s the best in baseball. And you can’t go on that other one anyways!
If a deal is imminent I’m praying there’s only 12 teams in the playoffs and not 14. Let’s not ruin the importance of the regular season so we can get closer on the money. 12 teams is still a win for the owners!
Twins fans!! Thank you for welcoming me into your homes this past week. I absolutely love being in the booth. This team is so much fun and everybody is working so hard. I promise to never take my opportunity for granted! See you in June.
Mets starter Marcus Stroman has opted out of the 2020 season. He has accrued enough service time to reach free agency this winter. He'll do so not having thrown a big league pitch this year.
Peace out MN! You never cease to amaze me. I loved feeling the energy around the city again! Keep it up because the
@Twins
are
#good
.... Like really good.
I still can’t get over the fact that as soon as Rob Manfred popped up on the telecast last night, a lightning bolt struck and the game got rained out. Poetic justice.
Rizzo getting down to eye level with the ball and staying back to create a longer hop is so technical at game speed. Having someone like him as your first baseman automatically makes any infielder better.
10 years ago I made my debut in MN! I remember every last damn detail. Thank you to the
@Twins
and everyone who helped me along the way. I hope we get some resolution soon so more guys can have that feeling!
As someone who struggled w/ throwing errors you can tell the ball feels foreign to him right now. Footwork is choppy at best, and he’s overthinking. The only fix is to throw across the diamond a million times everyday pregame. Get that muscle memory back!
