Last week Duke Energy teammates joined with area law enforcement agencies to pack boxes for @ServeAndConnect’s Greg’s Groceries program. A Duke Energy grant also helped support the purchase of the non-perishable food now available to families in need at local departments.

No surprise that Anderson County Emergency Management was named the 2024 Agency of the Year by the SC Emergency Management Association. This HERO grant from the @DukeEnergy foundation will support their work by funding equipment for traffic control during severe weather events.

As part of a focus on Share the Light agencies, today @DukeEnergy volunteers assembled nearly 300 Food 4 Kids summer food packs at @aimcharity, the largest STL agency in the Upstate region of South Carolina. Learn more about the summer food program here:

Like communities all over the Upstate, the team at the city of City of Clemson removed an incredible amount of debris following hurricane Helene. This Duke Energy Foundation grant will help make that work easier in the future by supporting the purchase of a towable wood chipper

Stopped by the Doodle Trail in Pickens today to present this grant as part of the @DukeEnergy Foundation’s efforts to support trails, litter cleanup, and tree planting events across SC. This funding will be used to repair/repaint markers and add new safety features to the trail

Thank you to Director Parrish and his team for hosting us at Table Rock state park. This trail-accessible wheelchair is part of $375,000 in April grants from Duke Energy to nonprofits and government agencies to help to fight litter, improve trails, and plant trees across SC.
