Small moments of comfort create big feelings of safety. When a child’s world feels gentle and predictable, their nervous system begins to settle – and healing can finally take root. 🧸❤️🩹 #TraumaInformed #ChildDevelopment #EmotionalSafety

Loss affects children in ways we don’t always see. It can look like anger, withdrawal, overwhelm or clinging to what feels safe. Meeting #loss with gentleness and curiosity helps children feel understood, not alone. It’s not about fixing, but helping them feel held + supported.

When caring adults and skilled clinicians work together, like they do at Treehouse Practice, children feel supported by a whole community. #Collaboration brings clarity, collective wisdom and interconnected care – the kind every child deserves. #MultidisciplinaryCare #teamwork

Every outburst, every shutdown, every ‘Why won’t they listen?’ moment has a story beneath it. When we pause, stay curious, and meet the need beneath the behaviour – we help a child feel understood. #BehaviourIsCommunication #TraumaLens

Behavior is rarely simple. What looks like defiance may be overwhelm. What looks like "won't" may truly be "can't". By looking past the surface, we move from reacting to truly understanding what a child is experiencing. #behaviouriscommunication #traumainformed #childrensneeds

Thank you to the @TescoIrl Community Fund for presenting Treehouse with a cheque for €615 today. We met as a team and discussed therapies for neurodivergent children and their families. These therapies will be offered at a reduced cost in April with the help of these funds.
