just locked in my first paid freelance project since leaving my 9-5 tech job 2 months back. financially its very small. less than 1 paycheck at my old job. but im pumped and gonna crush it! will be building product and customer analysis automation for a e-com small biz.

impressed with konva so far! using it for layer support, already simplified things a lot.

my kids helping me test the new konva integration for wepaintai. both tried using their fingers to draw, directly on my macbook air screen. had to give them a trackpad lesson. air touch when Tim??

Ben Epstein's talk about how they are doing real-world data extraction at GrottoAI was insightful. he's very positive about BAML.and prefectio. github repo in reply.

main take aways from composable data stackmeetup. duckdb is great (👍 im using it for a stripe customer enrichment and customer segmentation dashboard, reach out if you use stripe for user research pleasee) . modal is great (already knew that) but very good talk by Charles at.

so google asked cline and roo code revert their support for gemini cli. anthropic hasnt done the same with claude code. ive wondered how willing these providers will be to allow other tools to leverage them. .
