there was also just… not a lot of tension in this series. It was never close, and this game in particular was never close. It’s not like it was a game 7… it was to sweep an opponent whose own manager basically said they had no chance 💀
This tweet gave me hella clarity about the lack of celebration. Its not that they don’t care its that they are so focused on winning a world series that anything short of that is a failure.
