I recommend targeted legislation related to the request/responses between humans and inference providers. We need to get ahead of this for several reasons. 1) thoughts should not be able to be easily monitored.2) thoughts should not be able to be easily adjusted.3) cognitive.

There’s an ongoing and often under-communicated reality that many/most early employees get totally shafted in acquisitions. I think ego often gets in the way of telling these stories. It takes standout founders to not just take the money and run. I have seen both sides of this.
@balajis Incorrect. Talked to a senior employee at windsurf and current employees are getting no pay out and are left with shell of a company to “run”. All the cash is going to founders and preferred equity holders. It’s terrible for the industry.

IMO we should normalize detection of active recording devices especially if/when the devices are going to be made by a variety of manufacturers (read manufacturing companies). Probably wishful thinking and for sure there can be great benefits, but I can’t help but think some.
The race to create the ideal AI device is on.
