On Bannon promoting a Trump third term to the Economist: He’s said this for some time. On NPR in May, I mentioned a Trump remark, and Bannon said it “means he’s running again.” We then had this exchange, according to the transcript:

A legend has passed. She was a trailblazer, a giant of broadcasting, but importantly, a decent and empathetic journalist who cared deeply about @NPR and those of us who worked there. Farewell Susan. May you forever be imparting cranberry relish and wisdom.

We’re fundraising this week at @MarfaRadio. Obviously, with the loss of federal funding, this is a really important one. Whatever you think about NPR, our staff are locals who care deeply about West Texas and just wanna report local news. Help us do that:

@bigbendsentinel I will say tho - with any big business pitch like this, especially out here in Far West TX - it's worth remembering it's just that: a big business pitch. Could happen. Could very not. "Open Origin is one of many companies responding to a Request for Proposals (RFP)..."

"Even though Marfa has changed, the town has changed, you come back here and it brings you back to those traditions and roots." @NPR reports from Martin Field. Nice one by @celizario:

Great story but “Marfa’s notoriously fickle approach to the concept of business hours” is obviously my favorite line:
