This is wonderful. I teach travel writing and some questions we explore include: who gets to write about the travel? Whose accounts are valued? How does this impact our knowledge/understanding of the world? What/who is left out? Why? How? So thank you for this perfect example🙏🏽

The irony that’s #Iceland. Walk along any street and you’ll be the only pedestrian (below Selfoss, largest town on the South Coast). But go to a natural wonder in the middle of nowhere - the foot of a glacier or the crown of a crater (like Kerid below) - and it’s mobbed.
