"My Sweet Enigma" #song last thursday, smoking a cigarette in the sun the tune and theme just came to me in a divine rush inspired by Georgy Girl by The Seekers possibly the least cynical, most upbeat song I've ever written...
"All I Want Is Harmony" I wrote this lyric 30 years ago. Hearing it now... a real song... Stirs up those ancient emotions I so desperately tried to keep buried in my secret notebook... reconciling with the teenager I was with the man I am now... time seems like a illusion...

Currently obsessed with transforming my lyrics and poetry into ai generated songs. This process of transferring the abstraction from out of my mind and into an objective form is opening up cognitive and emotional space for further creativity. Songwriting... "Lost in a Lyric"

A rebirth? 45 years a pupa Emerging from this cocoon A moth Vulnerable... Confessional... In love with this girl from work Afraid my weirdness is too much Old cope mechanisms collapsing Nervous system gone haywire Can't sleep... Only dreaming of her In my waking heart

Lost in a lyric In the wisps of a wayward spirit Like a primrose parade My lovelorn heart unafraid Emotions we mimic Of a memory so dramatic In my mind’s nervous habit I hear your voice thru the static #poem #limerence

"Rinse the Blood Off My Toga" Wayne and Shuster #idesofmarch Bartender: What're you drinking?
Flavius: Gimme a martinus.
Bartender: You mean a martini.
Flavius: If I wanted two I'd ask for them. https://t.co/OkMQVJ1pio

I kid you not: walking back to my car, a pickup truck pulls into the hardware store next door with a bed full of dinner chairs 🪑 🪑 🪑 Put your phone down Take a look around Synchronicities abound

Coffee shop. I sit at a table with one chair. I write my little poems. A family of three gets up to leave. The father returns the chair to my table. “Here. Now you won’t feel so lonely.” True story. Just happened. The sky is shade of blue I’ve never seen before.

Smoke more books. Smoke to escape reality. Smoke to understand reality. Smoke to challenge what you believe. Smoke to think better. Smoke to write better. Smoke to argue better. Smoke to know yourself. Smoke to build something. A single cigarette can completely rewire your brain.
Read more books. Read to escape reality. Read to understand reality. Read to challenge what you believe. Read to think better. Read to write better. Read to argue better. Read to know yourself. Read to build something. A single book can completely rewire your brain.

People would rather read fiction than, literally, wear someone else’s shoes.
Reading fiction is not just a pleasant pastime. It teaches us empathy. It puts us in the shoes of those who are different from us. It’s a form of resistance against the forces of ignorance and bigotry and lack of imagination that tear our world apart.

The Writer and Reader are merging. Co-creating with AI has the potential to facilitate a feedforward process that explores storytelling with immediacy and ephemerality. To force this synergy into a novel is simply a novelty; like print on tissue paper. Dry your tears with it.
Writers are learning humility: all their blood, sweat, tears, and raw emotions matter far less than the the blood, sweat, tears, and raw emotions of their readers.

I kinda hate writers who use AI to publish books. I put blood, sweat, tears (so many tears) and so much raw emotion into my series, and here are "authors" writing prompts and publishing them without even knowing what they "wrote."

What people are forgetting is that Jim Carrey idolized Andy Kaufman who was known for pulling elaborate pranks where he played Tony Clifton in makeup, also played by his friend Bob Zmuda making it impossible to know who was really who. This is all a HOAX. https://t.co/mUqqmnkHmv

Just for the record, I'm pretty sure it's still Carrey and that he's intentionally trolling the truther audience with some makeup effects and deliberately speaking and behaving differently than his usual self. He did idolize Andy Kaufman, after all.

This is my limerence song: Distant Sun by Crowded House from Together Alone (1993). I avoid listening to it because the emotions overwhelm. Had a good cry yesterday. “I don’t pretend to know what you want but I offer love.” https://t.co/fI7nAxlTS6
Lately, I’ve been stuck in limerence cycle. Immediate impulse: MAKE HER A MIXTAPE. But really it’s about me reconnecting with that teenage part of myself. The romantic. So I’ve been lying in bed listening to Crowded House and reading my old poetry. Same old pattern.

Life as a cynic Pushed my patience to panic Such a cowardly crusade Shadowed by my own charade A kiss is a tonic So slip me your sultry sonnet Like a coquette paramedic My vital signs soar in the vignette #poem #limerence
