5862/5851 are done now. The /7s there are perfectly capable of running for another few years.

Not a good omen by the looks of it. 5851 on 23 siding today at WD alongside a few classmates who's future is also very unpredictable.

Not my photo. 13th of January 2022: An ongoing incident had trains cancelled for 2 hours straight. This resulted in multiple Class 455s and 456s taking over the majority of Waterloo. Some if not most of these 455s have since gone to Newport. Albeit 5911 is still with us.

I wonder where the Class 180s will go when they're withdrawn by 2028. GWR seems like the best option, considering they're similar to the 175s and can actually work with 175s. Maybe Northern to replace the 769s?.

455730 was sighted at Southampton Airport Parkway today on an ECS interestingly enough.

It seemed pointless for this technology to be installed into 319s as they had a year before they were withdrawn. I do find it nice that 319s were still getting treated with care at the time. Unlike Southeastern's Class 465s and 466s.

New technology is set to tackle autumn disruption ๐Ÿ’ฆ ๐Ÿ‚ . Water-Trak technology creates rainy-day conditions on the rail surface by spraying a small amount of water onto the track when a slippery rail is detected, making conditions better for braking.

455860 could be retired soon. Apparently, it's getting close to being withdrawn.

@RexKram55112378 Weโ€™ve not yet trained enough guards and drivers to have the 455โ€™s gone by December. 36% of Waterloo guards are trained in total. Thereโ€™s no way that number reaches the levels required in 4 months.

We are so back!. In the last half an hour, the first @SW_Help trains ran over Barnes Bridge following our nine-day line closure to strengthen and renew the bridge. We are grateful for the patience our passengers have shown over this period. Full story:

Make sure to tell them our 17 171s aren't on sale!. Don't want them taking 171201. That's ours for good! ๐Ÿ˜‚.

This is what is happening on the Skegness to Nottingham route when EMR hasnโ€™t got a enough dmuโ€™s to strengthen services and yet Class 150/2 bodies are laying on their sides in Simms scrap yard in Newport just needing a C6 overhaul, what a way to run a railway in the year 2025.

Have you ever heard of the mysterious 377165? Back in 2009, Coaches 68218 74818 & 68418 from 377318 and 77162 from 377162 were all formed into 377165. An unknown accident occurred presumably. It has since been disbanded back into 377318 and 377162. 377s are quite interesting!

Does anyone think SWR should have retained the 36 Class 458/5s(as /5s) and 707s for a more improved timetable rather than replacing them?.
