How would we feel about this team?
Enzo Maresca will have to be creative at centre-back against Fluminense. Levi Colwill is suspended, and Benoit Badiashile was spotted on crutches after the Benfica game. Defensive solidity is a constant in recent months, but he will be forced into trying something new at LCB.

Trev Chalobah has played alongside Tosin in a 3-1 win over Wolves in January and a 0-0 draw against Brentford in April. This has been a clear makeshift solution when Levi has been injured or in very desperate need of a rest. It will have to work again on Tuesday.

One of the best things about our Club World Cup run has been the return to form of Cole Palmer. He has been a constant threat, and it has felt like Maresca has found the perfect roles in the system to optimise him. Long may it continue ⚽️.

I've always backed Noni Madueke, but it's clear Enzo Maresca had some doubts and clashes with him last season. If he ends up at Arsenal, I just hope:. a) Maresca’s on board. b) The price is right. c) We bring in a genuine upgrade.

Enzo Maresca has transformed our defence. We held Benfica to 0.41 xG (excluding the penalty) and Palmeiras to just 0.21 xG — elite numbers in knockout football. Staying watertight at the back has been key to getting UCL and progressing in this tournament. Brilliant coaching.

Unfortunately can’t watch the Palmeiras game due to work commitments. Huge respect to everybody in the UK that stays up for the 2am kickoff. I have so much respect for international fans that catch every game that kicks off at this sort of time.

Decent game between Al-Hilal and Fluminense at the moment. If we make it to the semis, I honestly can't decide which would be the 'easier' opponent. Who would you rather face?.

I don’t think Andrey Santos will start tonight — but I don’t think it would mean much about his future at Chelsea either. Totally get the frustration; we all want to see him play. But it looks like Maresca is focused on getting him up to speed first. Not that deep.

Tonight is about resilience. It’s going to be an emotional evening and a tough test without Caicedo — and possibly Lavia and Neto too. It doesn’t have to be pretty. We just need to find a way through. That’s what Chelsea do.
