I'll get straight to the point. We trained 2 new models. Like BERT, but modern. ModernBERT. Not some hypey GenAI thing, but a proper workhorse model, for retrieval, classification, etc. Real practical stuff. It's much faster, more accurate, longer context, and more useful. 🧵

Dencun is both the most complex fork we've shipped since the Merge, and tied for "most total EIPs in a fork" with Byzantium. There were more teams than ever involved in the process, and it somehow all worked out smoothly...! Grateful to work with all of them, onto the next one🫡!

Ethereum Dencun hard fork has finalised and we are starting to see blocks although adoption seems minimal. It will be very interesting to see how the blos are used in the coming weeks!

It's completely understandable that @Uniswap needs to start charging for the use of their front end, but it will surely just drive more users to DEX aggregators. My main concern is with there not being enough separation between the for-profit company and the DAO.
I work in crypto because of the immense positive impact I believe it can have on the world, removing gatekeepers and increasing access to value and ownership. I’m proud of the ways @Uniswap Labs has contributed to that effort and want to make sure we’re creating sustainable
