Totally agree! The number of times I’ve gotten frustrated trying to find something on an overloaded map… 😬 less is more!.
Hot take: fantasy maps shouldn’t be Where’s Waldo for place names. If your map makes me scan for 10 minutes to find a remote ruin, it's not detailed—it's overloaded.
