Man I can’t remember the last time a hurricane brought on so many tornados. Especially in my county.

Well, this week is gonna suck. Not as bad as what it’s looking like for southwest/Tampa Florida, but it hasn’t stopped raining here and the storm is 2+ days out.

Have fun at CF Summit my CFML friends. Was all set to go this year, but between the hurricane and a pup recovering from surgery, it just didn’t work out. Gonna shoot for Into the Box, but there’s always next year as a whole.

Moving our largest (oldest) app to use Redis. A long time coming and even though it’s a relatively straightforward change, it’s a big deal in the steps to modernize. When I came on board, this thing was a mess of code running on CF8 (in 2016!). Now 🤩… Scale, scale, scale.

Leagues in @duolingo are so scuffed lol. I’m new to the experience, but Diamond league is full of extreme tryhards and deep wallets. It was fun while it lasted.

Had CF Summit in my plans to attend this year but looking like that’s a no go now. Maybe next year. Really wanting to hit some confs up again, talk shop, all that jazz.

Visited Mt. Rainier National Park for my first time and I felt like I was transported to an alternate world. It was stunning.
