mikoto is just soo conforming to social rules and tradition because he feels like he has to but fuuta will break him out of this trust.

pride and embarrassment he does want to be shown off a bit. like ‘look at me im with someone!’ meanwhile mikoto is a little performative/closed off with how he presents their relationship to others until theyre married ndbdjdbdhsjd then he becomes insane and everyone knows.

john is kind of the opposite he just hangs off of fuuta when they go out but i also wouldn’t say it’s in a nervous-clingy way but in just a “this is mine” ominous type. so confusing for fuuta brain. he just has never had another partner so when he breaks the barrier of.

fuuta tries to be warm and holds his hand on something like the train, and mikoto is confused and all flustered like “Um, don’t you think this kind of thing is a little innapropriate on the subway?😅” and just looks to the side and smiles. 10/10 ragebait except hes just like that.

it doesnt really show in my art because i always am a victim to drawing mikoto as a cuddle bear, but i imagine fuuta lot more silently physically clingy. mikoto is loudly affectionate but not really clingy especially not in public. —>.
