I'm frustrated that X doesn't let me hide the algorithmic feed. It's full of mental empty calories. Seems designed to tempt me with distraction. A platform that doesn't let me control my attention isn't looking after my interests. Repost if you agree.

@cobie if they go in using the chain with that full knowledge and understanding, then who am i to stop them? let them gamble at a casino which can close anytime i also think there are many who don't appreciate that distinction (i know, because a bunch of them got liquidated yesterday)

Tom (@tomgerhardt) and I have been friends since freshman year of college at Texas A&M. We both then headed to New York City for grad school, and were beginning our careers as designers when inspiration for the Glif struck. Here we are in college during study abroad, circa 2006.
