The only time all year Spieth has hit a shot in contention on the weekend was for about 45 minutes on Saturday at the Memorial. Using SG data without context is being deliberately obtuse.

Just one stupid parlay this week. Watching Netflix’s SEC documentary has me PUMPED for the Gamecocks this year. So let’s pound it big as the start of football looms. If I make it to Pennsylvania where I can bet on Heisman, gonna do a Lenorris Sellers one too.

I get it’s supposed to be a fun watch and not a hard hitting documentary, but Netflix making Florida’s remarkable turn around last year all about Graham Mertz’s leadership skills is certainly a choice.

Graham Mertz seems like a nice guy. But Napier waiting as long as he did to start Lagway, took an injury in fact, over Mertz is an almost fireable offense.

I just want to remind people that we engage in the Ryder Cup debate because it is fun to do so. That’s it. It’s not important. So if you disagree with me, by all means call me an idiot, but only if you are doing it for fun. Getting actually pissed means you are doing it wrong.
We can argue over the last two spots, but Ben Griffin is now a 100% Ryder Cup lock. Only concern was he might’ve lost his form after a fantastic spring/summer. He has shown the past two weeks, emphatically, he has not. If he isn’t, Keegs would be just as much of a fraud as Zach.

You’ve asked, rightly so, what does Rahm’s top 10 streak mean in limited field events on LIV? Let me counter, what does Cantlay’s being 10th in strokes gained mean when 9 of the 17 tournaments he’s played in are limited field events?. In his 8 full field events, 3 missed cuts.
@tomandmartys In the era of data dominated Ryder Cup golf, you should know the data still thinks Patrick cantlay very high end player, and ball striking data is on the super elite not named scottie tier.

You want to put Cantlay on the team over Gotterup, not gonna argue at this moment. That said, people are putting far too much stock in another non-contending top 10 from Cantlay and two bad days on thurs/fri from Gotterup. Still 2 very big weeks ahead for them and a few others.

Big news! . Tom & Marty’s has been selected to test market the new Guinness Clear Beer! Same great taste, only lighter without the annoying head. Just the thing they needed to do to compete with the growing Seltzer market. If successful it will replace the original in 2028 or so!
