Calling Ag Engineering companies:- It's high time for WeedHOG to be fully commercialised. So a very favourable arrangement is now on offer. Read on: The sole aim is to have this useful tool available where other options for harvest weed seed control don't fit. WeedHOG's

It was a sticky wicket today for the photo op at Kulin. Straw a bit lumpy out the back but "Won't Worry WeedHOG" Damp crop and weeds: no big challenge. SmallBore running well on Case 8120.

Chatting with a number of experienced growers recently about their use of seedmills as a HWSC tool has brought some interesting thoughts. Mills are a useful weed control method among a pretty short list of options at harvest. So lets ask some questions. 1. What's the best way

Doing a little intel gathering here at WeedHOG. European farmers. US and Canada too. What is your worst weed to control in crops and pastures? Probably several come to mind. Here in Southern Australia it has to be Wimmera Ryegrass, with a few more close behind. All answers

Should someone get in there with a bag to find out!?😬🤔🙄😤🙂 Good to see it humming Jason. It looks like the little vibramat idea works well to keep tough crops moving. Well done
How many weeds would a Weedhog hog if a Weedhog could hog weeds? Thanks @tom_tecfarm it’s working a treat 👍🏼👍🏼

Pretty critical area for mill use on certain harvesters. I'd be interested to hear what are people using on NH CR's to achieve good straw flow over the baffle into the accelerator roller? The roller being quite high is not helpful🙄
Anyone changes the style of baffle in John Deere header’s for harvest weed seed management? Thinking of trialing rod like on a pickup front to allow more weed seeds to fall in the chaff fraction 🤔

Here’s a WeedHog SmallBores insides, showing the unique patented principle. Rotors turn in the same direction (clockwise in this view) at 2400rpm throwing material at each other thru the gap. Thats it. Passing speed is high and violent. Rotors taper lock on shafts with entry end

#weedHog from @tom_tecfarm is a great simple system for smaller headers - to kill those ryegrass by crushing or smashing ryegrass weed seeds out the back of the header.

Today the SmallBore had its first outing. Very busy time speaking with owners of smaller harvesters. The machine is made to particularly suit Class 7 or thereabouts. Thanks to Dirk and crew at Harvestaire for adding WeedHOG to their display. Come in for a look tomorrow if you’re
