This is so true. I'm very glad that Kathryn, Julia, and Nadine have found agency in their careers in the industry outside of their loveteams, and now Liza is following suit. Despite facing more scrutiny than the others, I'm rooting for Liza and her Hollywood career.

@nikowl What I appreciate the most is that the film doesn't coerce the audience into an emotional response. It just lays out its narrative, and have the audience naturally engage. I've observed na some people sa sinehan were already sniffling sa mga sweet moments palang, and even I was.

@johnofthepartyy exactly! the diversity of the housemates' backgrounds created interesting dynamics inside the house, which made it intriguing to watch.

@prodjustinside it's all radfems pushing their transphobic and homophobic rhetorics in guise of feminism

@prodjustinside They've been doing "pinoy concepts" their own way too. I Feel Good is literally a throwback to 90s and 00s pinoy pop culture 😭

I've been waiting for the Filipino mainstream media to highlight Japan's atrocities against our country, and this is courageous, and I love it.
The synopsis of Olivia Lamasan’s upcoming period-action-drama film ‘Elena 1944’ starring Kathryn Bernardo under Black Sheep. It’s a story of a comfort woman during the Japanese occupation in the Philippines and is based on a Palanca-award-winning screenplay.

“Justice is expensive, my dear.”. #AVeryGoodGirl is a pleasant surprise. Dolly and Kathryn showed us what a MOTHER convention is. Behind the haze of the glamorous display of wealth through the extravagant-looking costume design, it is a timely film about class and power.

Jane de Leon ATE & left no crumbs. Her presence and action scenes make up for the rather underwhelming story of ‘Rage.’. Her character reminds me so much of many fierce final girls, especially Mia from Evil Dead (2013) in that scrumptiously bloody chainsaw battle. #SRRExtreme

Whatever the age they started dating, Coco has admitted he has showed romantic attraction to Julia when she was 13, and even TRIED to be with her. That is a groomer.
Okay naghalungkat ako naging magka MU si julia at enchong around 2012 so malabong sila ni Coco nung mga panahon na ito… January 24 2013 ang article. Julia was 17 back then and will turn 18 in less than 2 months.

I do believe that the Filipino film industry can produce a good Mars Ravelo adaptation with a GOOD BUDGET and the right team can compete with DC/Marvel films in the Philippine box office. This decently-budgeted Filipino remake of Voltes V shows that we have that potential.
“Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience,” the teaser film for the “Voltes V: Legacy” series about to premiere on GMA primetime on May 8, opened yesterday exclusively in SM Cinemas to long queues and standing ovations. Here’s why:

@Dcuajunco the community deserves chill and quiet spaces too, because hindi naman tayo lahat always extroverted. 😅.

@carloslaron It was a box office success naman! But it does not hold the same popularity and impact like the films of Direk Wenn, which I think it also deserves. .
