Liam and his 15U DC Diamonds teammates (Indiana, PA) do it again! Great team effort in 90+ degree heat. @ashbaughliam caught every inning this weekend and put on a receiving and blocking clinic. Proud of this crew of young men who are clicking on all cylinders.

My American Legion guys fought until the very end but came up on the short end of a 7-6 score in the deciding game of our three game league championship series today. On to the regional tournament next weekend.

Kid went from having awesome seats, to his dad almost getting thrown out of the game to meeting Mike Freaking Trout in person. What a roller coaster day for that little guy.

Awesome human being in @MikeTrout . Astros fan did not mean to interfere with his catch and you could tell he was sorry right away. His kid looked like he was gonna cry when security showed up, but Trout made sure to see them and signed merch after the game. Great dude.

Armstrong Freshman @LiamAshbaugh got called up to play with the varsity team again today and caught two innings and even collected his first career varsity hit. All the lessons, practices, and lifting sessions were worth it today. Congrats bud, keep up the great work.

Liam was fortunate enough to be given some varsity reps as a Freshman yesterday against Penn Hills. The work he puts in the weight room and at catching clinics are paying off. Keep it up @LiamAshbaugh

Liam got to play against my long time colleague and friend Joe Burger who manages the Fox Chapel JV squad. This is pretty much the only time you would see me root against the Foxes. Great day for all three of us to share our love for the game.
