@Zipcar @AskZipcar I got a DM asking for account info, which I confirmed, and have had no contact again for 2 hours. No callback. No way to get through to anyone on the phone. This has been over 24 hours. Please call back! #CustomerService

@Zipcar I opted for a callback. It’s been almost two hours in total on this latest attempt and pushing 4 hours from the earlier attempt...still no callback. #CustomerService

@Zipcar it’s been over an hour, no call back. And another 20 minutes so far of being on hold trying to reach anyone since the rep is clearly not going to call back as promised. The starter on the vehicle doesn’t work properly. #CustomerService

@Zipcar got through to a rep, he said he would call back in 2 minutes. It’s been 30 minutes. The car doesn’t work. #CustomerService

When my laptop is connected to my phone’s hotspot, Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS doesn’t work. (iPhone with T-Mobile service in US, MacBook with Catalina).

Are there any good success stories of a poor youth with nothing but a cheap Android phone and Termux building noteworthy software skills? Even the smallest devices today have whole worlds within them, and I would expect there to be hidden prodigies out there.

Confused about the zettelkasten hype? Don't be! It's basically a wiki…one concept per page, has links, and has tags.

Shipping records show a massive flow of key medical supplies from American ports to foreign buyers. While the U.S. has dithered, PPE, respirator and ventilator equipment have been loaded onto cargo ships for markets in Asia and Europe.

Defense Production Act has already been hundreds of thousands of times per year, absurd to not use it immediately (weeks ago, really); it’s not nationalization and it’s not a last resort. Should have been used weeks ago to start medical supply production

The Defense Production Act has been invoked hundreds of thousands of times in the Trump years. But with the pandemic, the president sees it as a “break the glass” last resort.
