The article is an exploration of the tangled threads binding together lyric and colonial discourse, with a special emphasis on their shared interest in the desert as a space beyond—and constitutive of—capitalism. You can read it in full for free.

We let the interns loose again and they absolutely delivered again. Is this a promo for Dianna Frid's lecture tomorrow at 7pm?? or is it an advertisement for a used car that will absolutely fall apart the moment after you drive off the lot??

This is my first event as director—I couldn't be more excited to inaugurate my tenure with an artist whose work has consistently expanded my sense of what is possible in text, textile, and bookmaking. Come and have your mind blown!

I love this review of Discipline Park—but, more than that, I love being reviewed alongside two of the best books in recent memory. A squad, a murder, a murmuration:

I love this review of Discipline Park by Emily Brown. Like all great reviews, it's more than an appraisal of the book—it's a poem in itself, wide-ranging and sumptuous. Plus Perkins and Will makes a cameo?? what more could you ask for

I feel jealous of Toby Altman for being so obsessed with this topic, which makes his poetry a “serious project.” I worry I am only serious about my love for people.

I'm poking around looking for funding opportunities for college students to travel to compete in a poetry slam. Anyone have any ideas / know of anything good?
