In 2023, the Tennessee Freedom Circle worked tirelessly to advocate for meaningful exceptions to Tennessee’s post-Dobbs trigger ban, recognizing the dangers that Tennessee’s abortion law posed to women’s health.
We applaud yesterday's ruling in the Blackmon case enjoining disciplinary proceedings against physicians who provide certain medically necessary abortions. The court’s decision makes clear that TN’s abortion ban denies women their constitutional right.
