They just reached out again for a follow-up: "Hey Taylor, wanted to reach back out on below. Interested? Let me know." Think I can get some free BBQ?

Recruiter: "Your experience at Heroku piqued my interest.." goes on to pitch me about opening a BBQ franchise... Lol, what?!?! That's definitely a new one.

I don't meet the CDC booster eligibility requirements ( https://t.co/uETrSdXXtm). its been 6 months, but no underlying conditions, not high risk, etc. Do I still get the booster? I'd hate to take it from someone in need, but I have a feeling they aren't low inventory in Florida?

Using Phoenix issues for a quick estimate on the amount of npm/brunch/webpack support required over the years: Issues — 2,034 NPM — 591 Webpack — 79 Brunch — 171 Around 30% dedicated to JS packaging. This is a big win.
I say this in the fairest way possible after years of support & churn – I now consider placing the burden of node/npm/webpack on new users as actively harmful. Also, long-term reproducible builds are essential for maintainable software & node has not stood this test of time /1

TIL that a lot of the booking sites ( https://t.co/nQxfNkwmEP,
https://t.co/fnH2tGei81,
https://t.co/iGzhfwQCsy,
https://t.co/NnhC5WYEH5, others) are all owned by a single company, Booking Holdings Inc... random, but I found it fascinating.

I love all the April 1st "I'm leaving tech and going to..." tweets. Its interesting what people would actually do if they weren't in tech.

The whole rails dependency issue is one of the reasons I push Elixir. Less dependencies == less chance of security or yanked version issues. Here's my quote from the Elixir at Heroku case study https://t.co/edVkYsNMwN
