again, if that is not why they chose these two women for this video, then this point specifically is not a criticism of them directly, but i still think it is imports to speak on, as it happens in other instances

‘reflection’ of the other. they are all different, with different experiences, perspectives and personalities. it may seem ‘not that deep’, but its so frustrating to see this reoccurring devalueing of critical female characters purely to uplift the already prominent, loved males

it is also extremely frustrating, as it is ifnorant to the differing traits of these women from hannibal and will, and their identities in general, for the sake of associating them with men which is so unproductive opposed to just understanding no character in the show is a

also im ASSUMING that they chose bedelia and alana, rather than the alternate relationship between two women (margot and alana) as they see bedelia and alana as female reflections of hannibal and will. If this is the case and not a coincidence (again, im not sure i am ASSUMING)

this is just wild to me bcuz what do you mean you cannot appreciate the two main, male characters of the show without having to regard two of the powerful, leading women as inferior
