I loved Reggie and @Pacers teams of his era but this has been my favorite Pacers team ever. They played so hard w/so much resiliency & toughness. I hear they are a great group of men too who played as a team. They made Indiana proud and have been a joy to watch. #YesCers

I’ve been praying for Jackie and his family and will continue to do so. The world last an amazing person while Heaven gained a beautiful soul.

I talked to Jim yesterday afternoon and I am so grateful for the conversation. I’m keeping voicemails and emails from Jim to remind me how I should treat other people.

The best thing that could ever happen to a person was for Jim to introduce you. We would all smile and laugh at his annual Duck luncheon as he made every person sound far better than any of us really are. But that is the way Jim saw the world and the people he knew.

He did big things for our state and community but he did the little things that matter to people he encountered.  An encouraging word, an introduction to someone he was sure you needed to know or just simply saying “I am proud of you.”

Late last night I learned of Jim Morris’s passing and it has been a hard 12 hours for anyone who knew Jim. He was one of the kindest, nicest people I’ve ever met who saw the best in every person.
