I am firmly opposed to @Keir_Starmer’s digital ID cards. It will make no difference to illegal immigration, but it will be used to control and penalise the rest of us. The state should never have this much power.

We’ve written to the Bar Council over their internship scheme that excludes white students. This is racial discrimination, pure and simple. Lady Justice is blindfolded for a reason - equality before the law must mean equality for all.

Children should not be taught that the door is closed to them because they have the wrong colour skin. We should judge people on their character, not their characteristics. The Bar Council should open this programme to all.

The Bar Council's '10,000 Black interns programme' deliberately excludes white men and women. They must immediately close this scheme and offer it to ALL, regardless of their skin colour. There is NOTHING wrong with being white. Racism. Pure racism from @thebarcouncil.
