This is why isekai protags have harems. They "conquered" all these women. This is their fantasy. They believe they're worth that "greatness". They're "winners". So if you make the protag gay. "how dare you turn my goat into the conquered?".

The absolutely sickening part of this is that this is only justice because kdj is a man. Ysa is not given the chance to confront the man stalking her. Jhw k*lling her r*pist is a plot that gets changed. Lsk m*rdering her abusive husband is completely removed from the story.

It is so genuinely ironic we will never see this adapted in film because the kdrama industry believes women defeating their abusers is more of threat to men. than men hurting men.

A rebuttal you often hear to feminism in media is "there are male victims too" but when given the chance to tell that story on a larger platform (ex. orvla) men choose to empower male victims by stripping autonomy, ability, and complexity from the women around them.
