Incredible mountain snow across all of Utah this week! Alta saw snow rates at 4" per hour early this afternoon. This will all make a decent dent to our snowpack...we needed it! Another storm arrives Thursday night, especially for southern and central Utah. #utwx

Been doing about 2”/hr up at Alta since 5AM. Latest interval counted 4” in one hour. This is why they’ve closed uphill traffic in LCC.

Palisades Tahoe is reporting 44 inches of snow this morning, making this one of the snowiest days in the ski resort’s history. In just the last two days, they’ve received 73 inches (6.1 feet) of snow.

UTAH COLD FRONT: A cold front is set to move in tomorrow morning (FEB 18) between 5-11AM. Scattered snow showers will linger into the early afternoon with 1-4" possible in the valleys, 2-6" on the benches and 6-12" along the Wasatch Back. An additional 1-2 FT in the mountains.
