Shocking... Not only is the August Dead Week gone...now the season will likely start a week earlier. All to expand the playoffs... Tell me again how this will improve HS Football in Illinois?

Since the IHSA playoff expansion passed, we’ve had a co-op dissolve into 8-man and two more 1A programs presenting coop plans. Both of which will force conference realignments. How does extending the season and eliminating the August dead week address the real issue of
