After a full on year of theatre activities, I’ve had about a week without it and it feels like I have gone off the map! Now just to get back into it without getting too overwhelmed? Is that even possible at this point? Is it just what it is?

my highlights from Barbie was the soundtrack, the dance numbers and Michael Cera as Alan. Some funny lines but I left feeling underwhelmed, maybe too high expectations? Nonetheless great achievements for cast and crew with a kind of original film

The DYCP final report submitted. Thank you @ace_national for investing in my creative journey. It’s had its highs and lows but I am very grateful for the chance.

really enjoyed this event, great way to meet a variety of artists and hear about the support from venues
Last night the building was just alive with artists and cool shit happening. From @lincolncompany's The Recruit to @CITheatre's Becca and the first creative summer social, it really makes you acknowledge how alive the region is. Big love @wearenonsuch

Didn’t think about this as much when writing straight drama/serious stuff

editing some comedy sketches I wrote a few years ago and the idea stopping me from going forwards “this is probably not as funny as you thought it was” It’s hard to know if something is good when comedy is subjective

I’ve been flitting between genres over the years of writing and trying to do some categorisations, let me know what I’ve missed: ✅full length drama play full length comedy play one person show ✅comedy sketch ✅poetry ✅songs ✅flash fiction novel one person show ✅short story
