The state weather bureau is currently monitoring three low pressure areas (LPA), two of which are inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The LPA located 1,140 km east of Central Luzon has a "high" chance of developing into a tropical depression.

JUST IN: Metro Manila is now under orange heavy rainfall warning, according to PAGASA's 11 a.m. rainfall bulletin today, July 22. The continuous downpour is caused by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
